RTU experience exchange conference: Teaching Through Entrepreneurship

Riga Technical University has successfully organized the final ERASMUS+ project multiplier event on 30 August with participants both at the RTU premises, as well as online.

Research on Consumer & Customer Journeys during and after the Venture Camp 2021

Earlier this year, the Venture Camp 2021 was organized online – a 4 week event full of mentoring sessions, lectures, workshops, networking and that welcomed more than 100 different participants from all over the world. This was a great opportunity for some practical and also theoretical research in the field of Customer Experience – specifically Journey Mapping.

The second Venture Camp will be held online 24 May - 18 June

The Venture Camp is a collaborative endeavor among six partner organizations from Finland, Latvia, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, all of which have common aims – to  inspire the entrepreneurship mindset, to expand connectricity, and to engage in innovation creation. The second round of the Camp is taking place soon and it is open for registration to students of the partner organizations. 

Venture Camp recorded sessions and presentations are publicly available

The Venture Camp, which was organized from 15 February to 12 March was a fruitful environment to sharing the entrepreneurship mindset among 98 students, 16 guest speakers and 25 mentors from the Consortium. Some of the valuable workshops are publicly available here.


The Venture Camp will be Held Online 15 February - 12 March

The Venture Camp is a collaborative endeavor among six partner organizations and one leadership figure from Finland, Latvia, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, all of which have common aims – to inspire the entrepreneurship mindset, to expand connectricity, and to support new product development.

The Venture Camp is organized in three modules from 15 February to 12 March:
Module 1:  Monday, 15 February – Friday, 19 February
Intermediate module: 22 February – 5 March
Module 2: Monday, 8 March – Friday, 12 March

Intensive Online Teacher Training at South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences

The Online Intensive Training aims at presenting our EETC project team competence and XAMK team competence in relation to entrepreneurship and innovation RDI, teaching and learning. In particular, the training will focus on the currently prepared Transdisciplinary Entrepreneurship Training Methodology (TETM) Handbook and its future integration in the pedagogical practices of the EETC partner universities.



Research on Transdisciplinary Entrepreneurship Training

The project “European Entrepreneurship Training Community” (Reference No. 2018-1-LV01-KA203-046974) presents its Research on Transdisciplinary  Entrepreneurship Training, which is a unique collection and analysis of entrepreneurship training activities and competences among start-up entrepreneurs. It also addresses challenges and activities in achieving sustainable entrepreneurship ecosystems in Finland, Latvia, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, as well as developments of entrepreneurship competences worldwide since 2016. This Research provides a foundation for Transdisciplinary Entrepreneurship Training Methodology that is being developed by Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and will be tested during the project in four higher education institutions: Riga Technical University (Latvia), Anglia Ruskin University (the United Kingdom), South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (Finland) and Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences (the Netherlands).
